Always shave with the way the hair grows, using a gentle downward pressure. Take the time to rinse your razor after every pass or so and try to minimize the number of times you pass the razor over any given spot.
Rinse Afterwards
Once you’re finished shaving, thoroughly rinse the area and apply cold water or a cold washcloth against the area for about 10 minutes. This will help minimize skin irritation. After rinsing and cooling the skin, it can help to use a soothing agent like tea tree oil.
Finish With Moisturizer
Shaving removes excess moisture from the top layer of your skin so finish every bikini line shave with a good moisturizer. Choose a brand that doesn’t have an alcohol base. Many moisturizers contain natural soothing agents like vitamin E, jojoba oil, lavender or aloe vera.
